Retwist and Loc-ing Gel

Did you know that you can make natural retwist and styling gel from sugar and honey? White sugar is used naturally for holding moisture in your hair when added to water. Some people actually use sugar water as a hydration spray. Honey is used for moisture retention, scalp health such as soothing and cleanse scalp of dandruff, hair growth and damage prevention, antibacterial properties. This literally feels like the locking gel consistency I would buy off the shelf. Doing research these are some main ingredients used for store brought products without all the extra chemicals. I was asked to make a natural gel for people with locs. So below I have listed ingredients:

Aqua, sugar, honey, glycerin, guar gum, tea tree oil, peppermint oil, kool-aid(for color), fragrance and a preservative.
